“Chieftain Chair”. A teak easy chair. Seat, armrests and back upholstered with original, patinated natural leather. Back fitted with buttons. Designed 1949. This example made approx. 1970 by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, stamped by maker.

Provenance: Acquired 1972 by present owner's parents from Danske Snedker Mester Møbler (Danish Cabinetmaker Furniture) in Copenhagen. On sale for DKK 2500 kr. Copy of original invoice included.
